The first week in October I went to Dedham Hall (deep in the heart f Constable country) where the lead tutor was John Hoar and along with 16 others I spent a lovely week painting in and around Dedham. The bonus ball was the Steve Hall (a fine painter and tutor in his own right) had enrolled on the course - so all us pupils enjoyed two for the price of one!
It is worth 'googling' both painters to see how their loose styles differ
A wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and a lovely group of fellow painters. I enjoyed it so much that I am going back in the spring!!
