I spent the first week in April in one of my favourite haunts - Dedham Hall on the Suffolk /Essex border. The Hall is situated in the heart of Constable country surrounded by wonderful views. At one stage I never thought I would I never paint again so to be back at Dedham was a fantastic bonus. With my sight still flakey painting takes longer - the positive is it allows more thinking time.
I have added a number of pictures painted during the week - the painting of Willy Lotts cottage was a test for me as it was the first time I had painted on a sheet of full imperial paper - it took quite a few hours!!
